The first Latina ever to develop the show, write and produce her own series for a network. She started her career in Texas however, she later moved into Los Angeles, where she continued to pursue her profession. Her guest appearances have been on TV shows like Sons of Anarchy and General Hospital. She also wrote scripts for The Mind of Mencia TV series Mind of Mencia.
