Biles also took home bronze in balance beam, floor, all-around and vault. Biles was part of the United States team known as the "Final Five". But, Biles pulled out of most of the competition due to her struggles with "the twisties" which refers to an intermittent loss of balance awareness of the air. With the US team she won a medal on balance beam and also a silver. Her partial withdrawal, emphasis on mental health, safety and perseverance were recognized. She's also a five-time World all-around champion (2013-2015 (2018), 2018-2019) as well as a five-time World floor exercise champion (2013-2015, 2018-2019) and three-time World balance beam champion (2014-2015 2019, 2019) and two-time World vault champion (2018-2019), a seven-time United States national all-around champion (2013-2016 and 2018-2019 until 2021) and was a part of the gold-medal winning American teams competing in the 2014, 2015, 2018 and the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
