Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in all the fights. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and beat her in a an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. She won her next fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her impressive wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her via third-round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. She remained dominant as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd defeated Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for the performance of the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was her first fight that she's had in a major way. Ladd was the winner of the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in an intense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and end Ladd and her streak. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a recent match replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
