Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American producer stage and screen actress who is best well-known for her films in Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She has a Bachelor's degree in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis is an American actress and producer, who has been involved in the world of film and on television. Her career began in theater and later appeared in several television series and independent and mainstream movies. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of BET's epic show The Book of Negroes for which she not only received high praise but also numerous nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. She made her professional debut in the role of Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. She has performed in Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Her most well-known work is her role in the series Men of Honor as well as the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. Her part as a regular in the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
